Party Poker Review

An aggressive marketing campaign has made these guys the largest online poker room. They've taken every precaution possible to insure site integrity and security. This seems to have paid off in the number of players they attract. Unfortunately, the site is often a bit slow. Table play continues to function smoothly. However, the game list (lobby) usually takes a while to load which makes it really irritating.

Let's take a peak at what they have.

At a glance:

Game Interface

Great interface, very similar to PokerStars. Who copied who? I don't know and don't care. The big difference is in the player graphic representation. They let you choose from some funky 3d looking pictures of people. I think they're pretty cheesy. There's no option to upload your own graphic.

Site size / traffic

These guys are it when it comes to size. As of Oct 2003, I regularly see 14,000 players on over 1800 tables at once! 'nub said.
